Welcome to CORD
CORD is a non-governmental and charitable organization, which came into existence in 2018 with the vision to empower and transform the world into a wonderful place through capacity enhancement and innovative initiatives that propel the engine of inclusive development. CORD has a great passion to lead the communities to transformational change through high-quality education, healthy life and self- reliance to achieving sustainable development. The organization upholds its prime principle of humanity (charity) around which all the other values orbit to inspire and transform communities to lead healthy and prosperous life. The crises in South Sudan and around the globe have negatively impacted the communities, infrastructure, ecosystem and environment, hence there is need to transform and build a wonderful world.
Advancing equal opportunities to enhance community capabilities across the globe to survive, adapt and thrive for an inclusive development that allows everyone to participate in building a resilient world.
We envision a peaceful and resilient world with equal opportunities and enhanced community capabilities that allow everyone to participate in building a wonderful world for decent living.
To have a peaceful and resilient world with equal opportunities and enhanced community capacity, which bring about an inclusive and progressive development.
It is fascinating to know that young Africans who have a shared vision of creating a better South Sudan, Africa and the world founded Community Organization for Resilience and Development (CORD). This team is a classic reflection of interdisciplinary professional background. A diversity of nationalities gives a unique flavour of wealthy and gender-based experience as the best option for leading a non-profit organization in complex environments. The passion to attain reputation through high quality planning and implementation of every project and program, which echoes out the mission of CORD to impact the rest of the world, remains the strength of the founders to make CORD an international nongovernmental organization (NGO).
